Role Overview

SEA-FAJ Consults is recruiting on behalf of our client for an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Executive (Digital Products & Technology Sales).

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by selling the company's portfolio of digital products and services, including software solutions, mobile applications, SaaS platforms, and other technology solutions.

This role owns the complete sales lifecycle—from prospecting and lead generation to negotiations, deal closure, and account expansion. The ideal candidate is commercially minded, understands technology products, and can effectively match client business needs with innovative digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities across target industries and market segments.

  • Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, client engagement, presentations, negotiations, and closing.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.

  • Build a strong and sustainable sales pipeline through proactive business development activities.

  • Prepare customised proposals and commercial presentations for prospective clients.

  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Market Research & Client Engagement

  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive opportunities.

  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, including founders, executives, and C-level stakeholders.

  • Deliver compelling product demonstrations and value-based sales presentations.

  • Identify client pain points and recommend tailored digital solutions.

  • Represent the company at networking events, exhibitions, conferences, and business meetings.

Digital & Traditional Sales Execution

  • Execute digital sales campaigns using LinkedIn, email marketing, content marketing, and social selling techniques.

  • Generate leads through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking, cold calling, and strategic partnerships.

  • Work closely with the Marketing and Product teams to align sales messaging and promotional campaigns.

  • Leverage CRM systems and digital sales tools to improve pipeline management and conversion rates.

Account Management & Business Growth

  • Develop long-term relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.

  • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional products and services.

  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and pipeline reports.

  • Gather customer feedback and communicate market insights to internal teams for product enhancement.

  • Support customer onboarding and ensure a positive client experience throughout the sales journey.

Essential Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in B2B sales, business development, or technology sales.

  • Proven track record of selling digital products, software, SaaS platforms, or technology services.

  • Strong understanding of software products, SaaS business models, and digital transformation solutions.

  • Experience managing the complete sales cycle from lead generation to contract execution.

  • Proficiency in CRM platforms, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and digital prospecting tools.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

  • Strong commercial awareness with excellent business development capabilities.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and consistently achieve sales targets.

  • Strong organisational, analytical, and time management skills.

Desired Experience

  • Experience selling technology solutions to SMEs, startups, or enterprise clients.

  • Knowledge of proposal writing, Request for Proposal (RFP) processes, and contract negotiations.

  • Existing network within the technology, fintech, education, logistics, or professional services sectors.

  • Experience working in a high-growth startup or technology company.

  • Familiarity with consultative selling methodologies and solution-based sales.

  • Experience using CRM analytics and sales reporting dashboards.

  • Demonstrated success in building long-term client relationships and expanding customer accounts.
